The 2024 Northern Nevada Diversity Summit will be held on February 22, 2024, 8am – 5pm, at the Joe Crowley Student Union at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Western Nevada College’s Realizing Opportunities for the American Dream to Succeed (ROADS) pilot project is now a nationally recognized program.
The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) has been awarded $100,000 over a period of three years for the project “A compact, non-invasive, and efficient vision screening system for long-term spaceflight missions.”

Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) has received a 2023 Green Power Leadership Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). EPA recognizes Green Power Partners like TMCC with a Green Power Leadership Award for outstanding clean energy initiatives and impact on the green power market.
UNR was recently ranked amongst the country’s best colleges and universities by several nationally respected publications. The rankings were based from the University’s student experience, faculty achievements and ability to impactfully engage with the many diverse communities that we serve.
The NSHE Board of Regents’ Academic, Research and Student Affairs Committee approved the establishment of four new programs at UNLV aimed at providing support and improving community and state-wide issues.
