eduroam Offers Free-of-charge, Roaming, Wi-Fi Access to the Education and Research Community
The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) is excited to announce the launch of our inaugural eduroam Summer Office Hours! These sessions are open to all education, library, museum, municipal, and other education-serving organizations across Nevada. Multiple time slots are available every week in July.
What is eduroam?
eduroam (education roaming) is a secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. It allows students, teachers, researchers, and others to seamlessly connect to the internet at participating institutions, facilitating academic collaboration and resource sharing.
Who Can Benefit?
This summer, we are offering multiple time slots every week throughout July to discuss how eduroam can benefit:
- K-12 schools
- Colleges and universities
- Public libraries
- Museums
- Municipal organizations
- Other education-serving entities
