Nevada System of Higher Education Invites Participation in Systemwide Virtual Listening Sessions on Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access
The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) is pleased to announce two systemwide virtual listening sessions focusing on inclusion, diversity, equity, and access (IDEA). Scheduled for April 22nd, 2024, these sessions will be hosted by Regent Michelee Cruz-Crawford, Chair of the NSHE Board of Regents’ IDEA Committee, NSHE Interim Chancellor Patty Charlton, and the NSHE Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access Council.

The NSHE systemwide virtual listening sessions are open to students, staff, and faculty from all NSHE institutions and designed to provide a platform for participants to share their thoughts, feelings, and perspectives on matters related to inclusion, diversity, equity, and access. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with leaders and fellow community members, learn about the initiatives of the IDEA Committee, and gain insight into the impactful work being done by diversity officers across various NSHE institutions.
These listening sessions are not just an opportunity for dialogue; they underscore NSHE’s commitment to amplifying the voices of students, staff, and faculty. Registration is required and listening sessions are limited to NSHE students, faculty, and staff. Please register using the email address associated with your institution.
