Chancellor Rose said: “Assembly Bill 450 has been approved by the Assembly of the Nevada Legislature and, yesterday, it was presented to the Committee on Senate Legislative Operations and Elections. As Chancellor of the Nevada System of Higher Education, I fully support efforts to gather information, study, and elevate the importance of our community colleges to Nevada’s workforce development, economy, and higher education mission. I would like to express my sincere gratitude toward Governor Sisolak for sponsoring this legislation and the commitment he has shown to improving the lives of Nevadans by examining our community colleges and the opportunities they provide for our future growth.”
