NSHE’s Weekly Report on COVID-19 Positive Cases
The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) is reporting weekly COVID-19 positive cases from throughout its eight institutions and system administration.
The data, which will be released on Mondays, is being made available as part of NSHE’s continuing effort to create a transparent and safe educational experience for Nevada’s public higher education community. The information is based upon weekly reports made to NSHE and may not reflect all current positive cases.
“I have directed our institutions and system administration to make this data public as part of NSHE’s full commitment to transparency and the safety of our students, faculty, staff, and higher education community,” NSHE Chancellor Melody Rose said. “Being the parent of a college student myself, I know that having this information is paramount in helping make the best decisions for my family. NSHE we will continue to do all we can to promote safe learning opportunities and explore new ways to empower our students and employees during this unprecedented pandemic.”

The most current data continues to be gathered on a daily basis from county and state health officials. For more information visit https://nvhealthresponse.nv.gov/.
NSHE will continue to coordinate with the Office of the Governor and continue to follow recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and state and county health and safety directives.
