Overview Back to Top

The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) has initiated a process to develop a strategic plan to guide the transformation of our system over the next decade. The development of this plan will continue throughout much of calendar year 2022, culminating in the fall of 2022. Through this effort, NSHE will develop a plan that is integrated, comprehensive, and complementary to our ongoing efforts.

Listening Sessions Back to Top

In order to build a plan that is truly transformational, NSHE is soliciting input from diverse communities throughout the state. This input will come from Nevada governing bodies, residents, employers, and members of the statewide NSHE community. The input that is provided will inform the development of the vision, mission, goals, and objectives that form the foundation of the NSHE strategic plan.

While there are many avenues for input, broad access is provided through a series of listening sessions that began in December 2021. These listening sessions, which are open to anyone interested in providing feedback and input, will continue through the first quarter of 2022, with updates on dates, times, and locations provided through this page, below. Additionally, you can provide input through the email address as well.

We look forward to your input and participation throughout the process ahead. Please feel free to reach out with input, ideas, or questions to contribute to this process. Our efforts to build an inclusive and transformational strategic plan for the Nevada System of Higher Education will be more successful with your input and support.
