Transcript Access

Student Transcript and Diploma Access for Students with Past Due Accounts

According to the Board of Regents’ Handbook (Title 4, Chapter 17, Section 2) and compliant with Assembly Bill 212 (Chapter 28, Statutes of Nevada 2023), a student with a past due account of any amount at an institution within the Nevada System of Higher Education may access their transcript or diploma by entering an institution-approved payment plan. Once a student commits to an approved payment plan, the institution will release the requested record.   While it is not required for a student to make the initial payment of a payment plan before the transcript or diploma is released, the student must remain in good standing with the payment plan to maintain access to their academic records.

To access a transcript or diploma when the student account is past due, follow these general instructions under the institutional contacts below:

  1. Contact the institution at which the overdue account is located to request a payment plan for the purpose of accessing your transcript.

  2. Once an approved payment plan has been established, contact the institution from which a transcript is needed.
