Workforce Development plays a pivotal role in driving collaborative initiatives aimed at enhancing Nevada\u2019s workforce in partnership with Nevada’s community colleges, state college, and universities that constitute the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE). Additionally, the department collaborates with relevant state agencies to work towards the seamless alignment of educational and workforce goals. The mission revolves around nurturing and expanding programs that are strategically designed to equip the workforce with the skills, knowledge, and expertise required across a diverse spectrum of industries critical to Nevada’s economy and the well-being of its residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
