This reform aims to enhance student success, particularly among underrepresented populations, by replacing traditional remedial courses with a corequisite model that allows students to enroll directly in college-level mathematics courses while receiving concurrent, just-in-time support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of a model of continuous improvement, NSHE joined the Launch Years Initiative (LYI), partnering with the Charles A. Dana Center out of the University of Texas at Austin in 2023 to continue the work of the Corequisite Implementation Task Force.
