{"id":33062,"date":"2025-12-01T18:22:18","date_gmt":"2025-12-02T02:22:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nshe.nevada.edu\/system-administration\/?post_type=news&#038;p=33062"},"modified":"2025-12-01T18:22:54","modified_gmt":"2025-12-02T02:22:54","slug":"nshe-thanks-governor-and-legislature-for-supporting-higher-education-during-the-36th-special-session","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/nshe.nevada.edu\/system-administration\/news\/2025\/12\/nshe-thanks-governor-and-legislature-for-supporting-higher-education-during-the-36th-special-session\/","title":{"rendered":"NSHE Thanks Governor and Legislature for Supporting Higher Education During the 36th Special Session"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) applauds Governor Joe Lombardo and the Nevada Legislature for their ongoing support of higher education through recent actions taken during the 36th Special Session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.leg.state.nv.us\/App\/NELIS\/REL\/36th2025Special\/Bill\/12998\/Text\">Senate Bill 4, the state financial appropriations bill<\/a> signed into law, funds two major NSHE capital projects: the Life Sciences Building at the University of Nevada, Reno, and a new building for the Lee Business School at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
