One award will be granted annually to a full-time member of the classified staff who provides outstanding service in support of the institution and\/or classified staff. The honoree receives a $3,000 stipend. The <a href=\"https:\/\/nshe.nevada.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/file\/BoardOfRegents\/Agendas\/2022\/03-mar-mtgs\/bor-refs\/BOR-10f.pdf\">2022 Regents\u2019 Outstanding Classified Staff Award<\/a> honoree is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Douglas Walton, CSN<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nevada Regents\u2019 Creative Activities Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Board of Regents established the Regents\u2019 Award for Creative Activities in 1993. This award recognizes significant accomplishments which bring recognition, as well as national and international stature, to the Nevada System of Higher Education. The honoree receives a $5,000 stipend and a medal. The <a href=\"https:\/\/nshe.nevada.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/file\/BoardOfRegents\/Agendas\/2022\/03-mar-mtgs\/arsa-refs\/ARSA-3.pdf\">2022 Regents\u2019 Creative Activities Awards<\/a> honorees are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Stephanie Espinoza Villamor, CSN<\/li><li>Michael Branch, UNR<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nevada Regents\u2019 Teaching Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1996, the Board of Regents approved the establishment of the annual Regents\u2019 Teaching Award. This award honors outstanding instructional contributions to the Nevada System of Higher Education. Each honoree receives a $5,000 stipend and a medal. The <a href=\"https:\/\/nshe.nevada.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/file\/BoardOfRegents\/Agendas\/2022\/03-mar-mtgs\/arsa-refs\/ARSA-3.pdf\">2022 Nevada Regents\u2019 Teaching Awards<\/a> honorees are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Rebecca Bevans, WNC<\/li><li>Heather Lang-Cassera, NSC<\/li><li>Matthew Leone, UNR<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nevada Regents\u2019 Academic Advisor Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Board of Regents established the Regents\u2019 Academic Advising Award in 1998. This award honors outstanding academic student advising with one award granted to a community college advisor and two awards granted to advisors at the state college or universities. Each honoree receives a $5,000 stipend. The <a href=\"https:\/\/nshe.nevada.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/file\/BoardOfRegents\/Agendas\/2022\/03-mar-mtgs\/arsa-refs\/ARSA-3.pdf\">2022 Nevada Regents\u2019 Academic Advisor Awards<\/a> honorees are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Courtney Schachter, TMCC<\/li><li>Le Quanda Cole, UNLV<\/li><li>Wilfredo de R\u00e1fols, UNR<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nevada Regents\u2019 Researcher Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Board of Regents established the Regents\u2019 Researcher Award in 1992. This award is bestowed upon faculty members with a substantial record of accomplishments, including a significant amount of research and scholarly work with recognition, clear evidence of the national and\/or international stature of the research, and in the case of grants and contracts, must have been competitive on a national or international level. The honoree receives a $5,000 stipend and a medal. The <a href=\"https:\/\/nshe.nevada.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/file\/BoardOfRegents\/Agendas\/2022\/03-mar-mtgs\/arsa-refs\/ARSA-3.pdf\">2022 Regents\u2019 Researcher Award<\/a> honorees are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Steven Hayes, UNR<\/li><li>Jamie Voyles, UNR<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nevada Regents\u2019 Rising Researcher Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Board of Regents established the Regents\u2019 Rising Researcher Award in 2008. This award is bestowed upon one faculty member at each Nevada research institution in recognition of their early-career accomplishments and potential for future advancement and recognition in research. The honoree receives a $2,000 award.
