The College Access Challenge Grant Program (CACGP) is a Federal program designed to increase the number of K-12 students who pursue and complete some form of training or education beyond high school. The Nevada System of Higher Education was awarded the CACG and will issue sub-grants. Selected applicants will receive an annual budget along with technical assistance in order to provide students and their significant adults with services designed to address the goals of the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) will focus its College Access Challenge Grant (CACG) efforts to dramatically increase the number of new college entrants, particularly for low-income, underrepresented and\/or underserved students in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following grants will be made available:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>GoToCollegeNevada Grants<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Up to $60,000, depending on the scope of activities and the number of high schools served.<\/li><li>Up to $150,000 may be awarded for a larger collaborative partnership that serves five (5) or more high schools.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The Request for Proposal will be made available on Tuesday, September 7th.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The due date is October 1, 2010, 4:00pm PST.
