2016 NSHE Southern Nevada Diversity Summit

In its fifth year, this collaborative endeavor has been designed to address the opportunities and challenges our institutions face and will introduce topics that promote research and debate on all aspects of diversity.
Such topics include: student support, equitable opportunities for student success, diversity research, higher education leadership, student activism, teacher education, co-curricular learning, integrating students with disabilities, community based learning for social change and diversity theory & identity.
This year’s summit will include a keynote, panel & roundtable discussions, workshops, and is expected to attract attendees ranging from higher education personnel, college students, K-12 personnel, community leaders and organizations within the state of Nevada.
This event is free and is open to faculty, staff, students and community members.
