Hannah Jackson serves as the 2018-19 president of the Associated Students of the University of Nevada (ASUN). She is an undergraduate student studying Journalism and Political Science.
Hannah has spent her collegiate career as an engaged member of the university and the community at large. Previously, Hannah has served as speaker of the senate, senator for the College of Education, and speaker pro-tempore. She has also served as the state alumni representative for Nevada’s We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution program, president of the Nevada State Education Association Student Program, outreach and volunteer coordinator for the Coalition to Save Our Schools, and intern for the 2018 Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement Meeting.
Her strong commitment to civic and democratic engagement has influenced her mission as president: to serve the students of the University of Nevada by amplifying all student voices and bring together representative groups of people to implement actionable change.
