Nicola Opfer, during this 2019-20 year, is serving as NSA Chair and for a second term as the NSSA (Nevada State Student Alliance) Student Body President. She is actually the first ever two term serving president at Nevada State College (NSC). She is a dual major in psychology and communications with a public relations concentration. Nicola is in her last year of her undergraduate studies and plans on pursuing a law degree and attending law school for international law. She is very active and involved with her community as well as on her campus. She has recently testified in this year’s Nevada State Legislative session on behalf of students for a new education building at NSC! Nicola encourages students to have a voice. As the president, she stands by the fact that no matter what we do, it should always be about bettering our students’ education. Nicola believes in helping NSC flourish and in helping the students create a better future for themselves. She represents about 5,000 + students who are bold and great in every way. Be bold, be great, be State!
