President, Consolidated Students of the University of Nevada (CSUN)
University of Nevada, Las Vegas
After serving for two-and-a-half terms as a senator for the College of Sciences, Hannah Patenaude has now taken the helm as the 2019-20 UNLV undergraduate student body president in CSUN student government. She is a double major in Chemistry, B.S. and Communication Studies, B.A. She conducts independent research in both fields about nuclear energy through radiochemical and rhetorical perspectives. In a decade you may be able to find Hannah working in nuclear policy on federal and international fronts.
As president, Hannah is hoping to increase student access to and awareness of various resources across campus, including CSUN, as well as initiate opportunities for her fellow Rebels to spend time in Washington, D.C. lobbying for issues affecting UNLV’s students.
